How to apply, step by step
- If you are SC, ST or OBC, do One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal first. Karnataka guides say it is mandatory.

- Choose the scholarship of your department (Social Welfare for SC, Tribal Welfare for ST), fill in the details and upload the documents on this card.
- Submit the application. Your institute verifies it, then the department. Track the status on the portal and fix anything that is sent back before the last date.
- Your bank account must be Aadhaar-linked, or the money won't reach you.
