How to apply, step by step

If you are SC, ST or OBC, do One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Portal first. Karnataka guides say it is mandatory.
Open the Karnataka post-matric scholarship portal (ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in) and register or log in as a student.
Choose the scholarship of your department (Social Welfare for SC, Tribal Welfare for ST), fill in the details and upload the documents on this card.
Submit the application. Your institute verifies it, then the department. Track the status on the portal and fix anything that is sent back before the last date.
Your bank account must be Aadhaar-linked, or the money won't reach you.
