For girl students who studied Class 6 to 12 in a Tamil Nadu government or government-aided school and are now in a regular higher-education course (degree, diploma, ITI, professional). How to apply, step by step

This scheme is applied for through your college. Ask your college office or the scheme nodal officer for the current registration process and last date.
Keep ready: school certificates showing Class 6 to 12 in a Tamil Nadu government or government-aided school, your college admission/bonafide certificate, Aadhaar, and an Aadhaar-linked bank account in your own name.
Give the details and documents to your college, or register on the portal they tell you about.
After verification the ₹1,000 a month is sent to your bank account by DBT. If a month is missed, ask your college to check your status.
